どんなラノベ？

舞台は東京の笹塚。
The setting is Sasazuka, Tokyo.

人族との戦争に負けて異世界から東京に逃げて来た魔王さまと悪魔大元帥アルシエル。
The Demon Lord and the Demon Marshal Alciel flee to Tokyo from another world after losing a war with the human race.

何とか東京の生活に馴染んできた時に勇者エミリアと遭遇。
なんとか東京での生活に慣れた頃、勇者エミリアと出会う。

そこから始まる魔王こと真奥貞雄、アルシエルこと芦屋四郎。
Starting there, Sadao Maou a.k.a. the Demon King, and Shiro Ashiya a.k.a. Arciel.

そしてエミリアこと遊佐恵美と地元民の佐々木千穂とのドタバタコメディー。
And a slapstick comedy between Emi Yusa aka Emilia and local resident Chiho Sasaki.

Sadao Maou, the Devil King, has finally been promoted to store manager! And who should move in next door to his fortress (actually a tiny studio apartment in a dingy walk-up) but a lovely kimono-wearing lass. 前巻からのあらすじ

異世界で「世界征服だ！」と言ってた魔王さまが女勇者にボコられて逃げた先は地球の東京都だった。
The Demon King, who had been saying, “I’m going to conquer the world! in another world, the Demon King was beaten up by a female heroine and fled to Tokyo, the capital of the Earth.

地球の空気中には魔族に必要な魔力が無く。

体内から魔力の放出を抑えるのも一苦労する環境。

お陰で強靱な肉体は脆弱な人族と変わらない姿となってしまった。

There is no magic power in the earth’s air, which is necessary for the demon tribe.

The environment is such that it is difficult to suppress the release of magic power from within the body.

Thanks to this, their strong bodies have become no different from those of the fragile human race.

そんな地球で生活をしないといけないが、、

彼等には戸籍と現金、口座すら無い。

それを魔法を使って窓口の地球人を催眠状態にして戸籍、現金、口座を確保する。

They have to live on such a planet, but

They don’t even have a family register, cash, or bank account.

Using magic, they hypnotize the people at the counter and secure their family registers, cash, and bank accounts.

魔王さまは真奥貞雄、悪魔大元帥アルシエルは芦屋四郎と名前を変え、不思議な大家さんの居るヴィラ・ローザ笹塚に部屋を貸りる。
The Demon Lord is Sadao Maou, and the Demon General Arsiel changes his name to Shiro Ashiya, and rents a room at Villa Rosa Sasazuka, where there is a mysterious landlord.

感想

魔族に勝利した人族は内ゲバを始めた。

その手始めに魔王を追いかけて異世界に出向いた勇者エミリアを暗殺しようと教会の幹部オルバが、元悪魔大元帥のルシフェルこと漆原と襲って来た。

After the victory over the demon tribe, the human tribe started an internal war.

As a start, Orba, a church official, attacked with Urushibara, aka Lucifer, a former demon marshal, in an attempt to assassinate Emilia, a hero who had gone to another world in pursuit of the Demon King.

魔力がカツカツな真奥は強盗や窃盗をして恐怖を吸収している漆原に敵わず瀕死になってしまう。
そしてトドメに漆原が首都高の高架台を落としたら、、

多くの人が恐怖を撒き散らかしたせいで真奥が魔王に変化して漆原をボコって鎮圧。

Maou, whose magical power is exhausted, is no match for Urushibara, who absorbs fear through robbery and theft, and is nearly killed.
And to top it off, when Urushibara drops an elevated platform of the Tokyo Metropolitan Highway…

Because many people spread fear, Maou turns into a demon king and subdues Urushibara by beating him up.

崩落した首都高を強大な魔力を使って全てを元に戻し。
The collapsed Metropolitan Highway was put all back together using mighty magical powers.

いつのまにか気絶していたオルバは放置。
後々に警察のお世話になって強盗犯だと判明して刑務所へドナドナ。
Olva, who had passed out at some point, was left alone.
He was later taken care of by the police, found out to be a robber and donated to jail.

そして真奥にボコられ拉致られた漆原は、真奥と芦屋に説教され魔王城の居候していた。
Then, after being beaten up and abducted by Maou, Urushibara was lectured by Maou and Ashiya and was staying at the Demon King’s castle.
落ち着いたと思ったら、、
Just when he thought he had settled down…

魔王城の隣の202号室にエンテイスラの異端審問官が入室して来た。

彼女は魔王暗殺のために来たのだが、、
An Inquisition officer from Ente Isla entered room 202 next to the Demon King’s Castle (room 201).
She had come to assassinate the Demon King.

彼女は魔王一行と思われる連中を監視していたのだが・・・

あまりにもスキだらけで芦屋は脆弱で夏バテでダウン。
漆原グータラで役立たず。
真奥は仕事が忙しい。
She was keeping an eye on what she thought was the Demon Lord’s group…
Ashiya is too skittish, vulnerable and down with summer fatigue.
Urushibara is lazy and useless.
Maou is busy with his work.

そんな彼等を見ていた異端審問官は、つい世話を焼いてしまっていた。
The Inquisition officers, seeing them, were very concerned about them.

そんなある日、勇者エミリアが魔王をロックオンしていると気が付いたので遠慮をしていたが。
Then one day, he noticed that the brave Emilia had locked on to the Demon King, and he began to refrain.

いつまで経っても勇者エミリアが魔王を殺さないので、疑問に思った異端審問官のベルは、、思い切って全ての事情を勇者エミリアに打ち明けてみると。。
勇者エミリアはベルを日本人だと思っており、ベルが真奥に恋慕していると思っていた。
When Emilia, the hero, did not kill the Demon King no matter how long it took, Belle, an Inquisition officer, was doubtful, so she boldly confided all the circumstances to Emilia.
The brave Emilia thought Belle was Japanese and thought Belle was in love with Maou.

それを聞いてベルは愕然とするが、、
Bell is aghast to hear that, but…


天界の天使サリエルがマグドナルドのライバル店のセンタッキーの店長として潜伏している事が発覚。
The angel of the heavens, Sariel, is discovered to be hiding out as the manager of Centucky, a rival restaurant of McDonald’s.

天使の言う事を聞かないといけないベルはエミリアと千穂を誘拐して、サリエルがエミリアの剣を没収しようとするのだが、、、
Belle, who must do what the angel says, kidnaps Emilia and Chiho, and Sariel tries to confiscate Emilia’s sword…

そこに千穂の危機を知って追いかけて来た真奥が来るが、、、
弱体化している真奥は手も足も出ない。
Then comes Maou, who has learned of Chiho’s crisis and comes after her, but…
Maou, who is weakened, is unable to do anything about it.

そこに現地民(千穂)を巻き込んでいる事に苦悩していたベルが、新宿駅の変電施設を攻撃して大停電を起こして周りの人間の恐怖心を煽る。
Bell, who was distressed by the fact that the local people (Chiho) were involved there, attacked the substation at Shinjuku Station, causing a major power outage and instilling fear in the people around him.

その結果、真奥が魔王さまに変化してサリエルをボコって一件落着、、、
As a result, Maou turned into the Demon Lord, beat up Sariel, and the case was settled…

とは行かなかった。
大停電が問題になっており真奥は罪悪感に苛まれてしまう。
It did not go as well as it could have.
A major power outage is a problem, and Maoku is tormented by guilt.
