どんなラノベ？

舞台は東京の笹塚。
The setting is Sasazuka, Tokyo.

人族との戦争に負けて異世界から東京に逃げて来た魔王さまと悪魔大元帥アルシエル。
The Demon Lord and the Demon Marshal Alciel flee to Tokyo from another world after losing a war with the human race.

何とか東京の生活に馴染んできた時に勇者エミリアと遭遇。
なんとか東京での生活に慣れた頃、勇者エミリアと出会う。

そこから始まる魔王こと真奥貞雄、アルシエルこと芦屋四郎。
Starting there, Sadao Maou a.k.a. the Demon King, and Shiro Ashiya a.k.a. Arciel.

そしてエミリアこと遊佐恵美と地元民の佐々木千穂とのドタバタコメディー。
And a slapstick comedy between Emi Yusa aka Emilia and local resident Chiho Sasaki.

The Demon Lord goes to labor!

異世界で「世界征服だ！！！」と言ってた魔王さまが女勇者にボコボコにされて逃げた先は地球の日本国の東京都だった。
In a different world, the Demon King was saying, “I will conquer the world! in another world, the Demon King was beaten up by a female heroine and fled to Tokyo, , the capital of the Japan.

地球の空気中には魔族に必要な魔力が無く。
体内から魔力の放出を抑えるのも一苦労する環境。
There is no magic power in the earth’s air, which is necessary for the demon tribe.
It is an environment where it is difficult to suppress the release of magic power from the body.

お陰で強靱な肉体は弱体化して脆弱な人族と変わらない姿となってしまった。

魔王さまは真奥貞雄、魔王軍大元帥アルシエルは芦屋四郎と名前を変え、不思議な大家さんの居るヴィラ・ローザ笹塚に部屋を貸りる。
The Demon Lord is Sadao Maou, and the Demon General Arsiel changes his name to Shiro Ashiya, and rents a room at Villa Rosa Sasazuka, where there is a mysterious landlord.

そして、日給7000千円の日雇労働から始めるが、、
その会社が違法労働で摘発されて倒産。
Then, he started out as a day laborer earning 7,000 yen per day, but
The company went bankrupt after being caught for illegal labor.

それに落ち込みながらも糊口を凌ぐだけでは元いた世界に戻れない。
それで芦屋を帰還のための調査をさせながら真奥がマグドナルドのアルバイトとして仕事をして金を稼ぐ。
Depressed by this, he can’t return to the world he was in just to survive on glue.
So while Ashiya is sent to investigate the return, Maoku works part-time at McDonald’s to earn money.

そして、夏になるちょっと前に冷蔵庫、洗濯機、自転車を購入したら、、、、、

貯金が尽きた。
そんな苦学生のような生活をしていた真奥の前に、かつて魔王をボコボコにした女勇者エミリアが現れた。
Then, shortly before summer, I bought a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a bicycle and then 、、、、、

The Demon King’s savings ran out.
In front of Maou, who was living like such a struggling student, the female hero Emilia, who once beat up the Demon King to a pulp, appeared.

エミリアも遊佐恵美として日本で生活しながら魔王を探していた。
Emilia was also living in Japan as Emi Yusa and searching for the Demon Lord.

遂にライバル2人が再開してしまった！
さてどうなる？
Finally, the two rivals are back together!
What will happen now?

でもその2人を襲う者が現れた。
何処の誰だかわからない。
でも、エンテ・イスラの関係者である事は確か。
But then someone attacked the two of them.
I don’t know who or where.
But I’m sure it was someone related to Ente Isla.。

でも、襲われた処は警察が現場検証をしたら真奥の自転車が前後輪を撃ち抜かれた状態で放置されていたせいで、、

真奥と芦屋が警察から事情聴取を受ける事になってしまった。
The place where the attack took place was the scene of a police investigation, which revealed that Maou’s bicycle had been left unattended with the front and rear wheels shot off.
Maou and Ashiya were interviewed by the police.

そこで2人は、仕事関係者以外の唯一の知り合いの恵美に身元引き受け人になってもらい無事2人は釈放されるが、、、
Emi, their only acquaintance outside of the business world, becomes their sponsor, and the two are safely released, but…

魔王の身元引き受け人が勇者というのも面白いw
It’s also interesting to note that the demon king’s status guarantor is a brave man.
